Itzik Barik

Hi, I'm Itzik Barik, a companion from the Parkinson Israel Association. 71 years old, dealing with Parkinson's disease for 9 years.

Even before the discovery of the disease, I challenged myself in 4 marathons in Israel and around the world! 

Three years ago I was among the initiators of establishing a sports team for contestants and those who are not "the Lions".

I discovered new areas of creativity, which gave me satisfaction - singing, acting, music, dance.

I practice Buddhism which gave me tools to deal with the disease, tai-chi, rehabilitative yoga, and sports.

My "I believe". It is living the present moment with meaning and giving to others and supporting new contestants.
