The Institute for Movement Disorders at Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital, under the direction of Prof. Sharon Hasin, a senior neurologist and specialist in movement disorders. The institute employs senior neurologists who specialize in movement disorders, specialist doctors, neurosurgeons, an oral and maxillofacial specialist, ophthalmologists, nursing staff, psychologists, communication clinicians, a social worker, a physiotherapist and a research team.
Our belief is that everyone deserves professional treatment at the highest level, when the patient and his family members are at the center, as part of an inclusive holistic treatment.
The institute operates sub-clinics and a variety of day hospitalizations, including functional neurosurgery (DBS), a botulinum clinic for injections in various movement disorders.
The institute's staff makes sure to participate in the leading studies in the field, and conducts clinical trials on drugs and medical technologies, as well as participates in academic studies.
In addition, the institute offers a variety of workshops and support groups for patients and family members.
The institute is open Sunday-Thursday between 08:30 and 14:30
