Regulations for protection in social and sporting activities and prevention of sexual harassment
- Participation in a variety of social activities or engaging in sports is a free choice of the contestants, and they are entitled to participate in protected sports and to equal and non-discriminatory treatment.
- There will be no marital or sexual relationship between people who have a relationship of authority.
- Every participant in the association's activities has the right to maintain physical and emotional privacy. No one has the right to enter another person's personal space without their consent.
- The organization's volunteers are responsible for creating a safe space for community members through education and discussion about values, and for being attentive to signs of distress among participants.
- The responsibility for maintaining protection in social and/or sports activities lies with all volunteers of the association and all service providers in the association, coaches and community managers.
- Coaches and instructors must recognize and understand the limitations of Parkinson's disease and the motor challenges due to the disease, and be careful to set achievable requirements within defined time periods, in accordance with professional and medical standards.
- Competitors must participate in the variety of activities while respecting each other and acting in a friendly and sportsmanlike manner towards their opponents. No participant/athlete may be insulted, humiliated, ridiculed, sexually harassed, belittled or excluded.
Sexual harassment is a behavior prohibited by law. The harasser faces a sentence of up to two years in prison.. In circumstances where the sexual harasser published a photograph that focuses on the sexuality of a person without their consent, he was sentenced to three years.
