Accessibility regulations at the Parkinson's Association in Israel
Legal definitions:
The law defines accessibility as “the ability to reach a place, move and find your way around it, use and enjoy a service, receive information provided or produced within or in connection with a place or service, use their facilities and participate in the programs and activities that take place there, all in an equal, respectful, independent and safe manner.”
A person who needs accommodations will inform the person in charge who invited him to the office/club of the necessary accommodations. It should be noted that the inviter is obligated to accompany the guest throughout his stay at the place of activity, from the moment he enters until the moment he leaves.
Israeli law requires every business to publish an accessibility statement on its website. Website posting is of great importance and helps people with disabilities receive critical information about the accessibility arrangements on the website.
