"Recipe for quality of life" - lecture by Dr. Ilana Tzur at the Sharon branch.

The quality of life of Parkinson's patients can be significantly improved by adopting a number of easy-to-implement habits.

 

Eating habits

  1. Drink more and eat less
  2. avoid "diet" drinks
  3. Cranberry juice is effective for treating urinary tract infections and contains antioxidants
  4. Increase by eating red and purple fruits and vegetables that contain antioxidants.
  5. Improve bowel movements by stroking the abdomen ten times in the morning and evening [the stroke is made in the shape of the letter "H" in the course of the large intestine, starting from the right groin near the appendix, going up to the level of the coccyx, crossing to the left side and going down to the left groin].

 

Maintaining body heat - in three main areas:

  1. Chest
  2. lower abdomen
  3. lower back

 

breathing habits

  1. Breathe through the nose - to filter the air, to regulate the temperature, to prevent the formation of polyps, to prevent dryness in the mouth
  2. Avoid air purifiers that contain harmful substances
  3. It is advisable to use essential oils
  4. Walk on the seashore, where the air is enhanced by the spray of the waves
  5. Near the groves of pine trees, the air is improved due to the ionization of the pine needles
  6. In the Dead Sea region the air is rich in bromine

 

correct posture

  1. to bring the shoulder blades together and make the chest stand out
  2. Interlace fingers behind the back of the neck and lower - ten times
  3. Stretch all the joints
  4. make big movements

 

mood

  1. keep a good mood
  2. "To praise and not to complain"
