Vision - visual impairment in Parkinson's patients

Vision disorders are common with age and require first of all an examination by an ophthalmologist regarding cataracts, retinal degeneration, glaucoma or other problems, such as those that can be helped by optical correction (new glasses...).

If all these are ruled out, there can be focus problems in Parkinson's patients. Sometimes the problem is not the vision but concentration and understanding problems, but the patient thinks it is a vision problem. You should consult the attending neurologist.
